The team provide IT training modules primarily on the main clinical applications (EPR, Patient Centre, ICE and PACS) used across the Trust to ensure clinical and non-clinical staff have the appropriate skills to support their role to provide high quality patient care.
EPMA Super User training for Nurses and Midwives is also available upon request, please note that we require a minimum of 3 delegates for the session to run.
Training locations are as follows:
BHHH - Basingstoke (Millennium House, Room 3, unless stated otherwise)
RHCH - Winchester (Education Centre - Skills Suite, unless stated otherwise)
If you are attending a Virtual Session – please note these are delivered over Teams and you will require access to a PC/ laptop to view the session, with headphones and if possible a microphone - it is not suitable for joining via a handheld device and you may be asked to reschedule to join another course with suitable equipment.

Courses are bookable after a Network Request form has been processed by the IT Service Desk.
How do I get my login?
Your line manager will need to submit a network access request to IT
Service Desk.
Once processed we will contact your line manager to confirm training (in house / need to book on a course). If in house training is confirmed your logins will be released, or if attending a course, you will be given them on completion of the course.
Reset Passwords

For permanent staff, EPMA Medicines Administration and EPMA Prescriber Package training are on Green Brain and once completed, the logon details can be requested by sending a copy of your pass certificate to IT.Training@hhft.nhs.uk.
Note: If you have previously completed EPMA Training on Green Brain, please ensure this competency has been reset by IT Training before re-attempting, or it will not be valid.

For Temporary/ Locum staff:
Medicines Administration - EPMA training can be provided by an EPMA Super User, and the relevant competency form needs to be completed and sent to IT.Training@hhft.nhs.uk. Details of Nursing and Midwifery EPMA Super users are available upon request.
If the user doesn't have access to Green Brain, they can use this link to complete the EPMA Medicines Administration eLearning. Logon details can be requested by sending a copy of pass certificate / screenshot clearly showing their completion and full name to IT.Training@hhft.nhs.uk.
Prescribers - a competency form needs to be completed.
- For Doctors this needs to be with a senior or equivalent grade Doctor
- For Midwives, with a EPMA Super User Midwife.
