Course Aims/Objectives
·Recognise and treat the deteriorating patient using a structured ABCDE approach
·deliver standardised CPR in adults
·manage a cardiac arrest by working with a multidisciplinary team in an emergency situation
·utilise non-technical skills to facilitate strong team leadership and effective team membership
Course offering
There are 2 types of courses, a traditional 2-day course, which has skills stations, workshops, lectures and simulations. A one-day e-ALS which does all lectures online, and the day covers skills stations, workshops and simulations
Please be aware this course costs approx £400 - £500.

4-year competence
Pre course materials
Must complete a manual and pre-course MCQ before starting course
If doing e-ALS also must do online learning prior to staring course.
There is a Cas test and MCQ at the end of the course, whether 1 or 2 day
