EPR eTCI (Electronic To Come In) Card

This short course provides an overview of how to use the e-TCI Card functionality in EPR for both Clinicians and Admin Staff. The functionality has been introduced to:

Reduce the risk of patients coming to harm

Current paper based ‘TCI card’ processes risk patients coming to harm because incorrect information is copied from a paper TCI card to HHFT Patient Management Information Systems (e.g infoflex, Patient Centre, Paper Diaries, etc.)

Save Clinician & Admin time

Current paper based ‘TCI card’ processes are labour intensive for stretched Clinicians and Admin Staff, so this allows for the process to be streamlined to save duplication of tasks

Improve automation & integrations between siloed Trust IT Systems

To avoid data entry duplication and improve the integrity and integration of Trust IT systems and data.
