As part of our re-launch, the MH Champion will be superseded by MH Key Trainers.
The rationale for this change is it will enable you to update and train your colleagues and for you to sign off their practical competence for their Green Brain account.
This will help with your development and also help your department and colleagues.
In order to do this, you will be provided with additional training (Manual Handling Train the Trainer course).
This course will provide you with the skills to successfully teach a manual handling update within your department; you will be supported through the whole process by a mentor/ Manual Handling Coordinator.
Prior to attending your manager will confirm they are happy to release you to deliver training and work on your CPD, in work time, related to this role.

You can deliver bespoke mandatory update training when it suits your colleagues, in your own department.
