Who should attend

This training is suitable for all staff who book outpatient appointments and for those who wish to know more about Patient Hub.

Course Information

Patient Hub is a secure online portal used by the Trust to provide patients access to their appointment details, appointment letters and any additional information electronically via a web application.

Patient Hub is connected to Patient Centre and receives information about appointments  when they are booked, amended or cancelled in Patient Centre

From the Trusts admin teams perspective there is no longer a need to print appointment letters from Patient Centre (these will be automatically generated through Patient Hub).

Modules available include:         

1. An Introduction – What is Patient Hub and what are the benefits

2. The Patients Journey – What the system looks like from the patients end

3. Admin Team Login and CallMeBacks – How to handle a call back on Netcall Converse (Telephony) for a patient requesting to cancel/rebook an appointment via the Patient Hub

4. Admin Team Printing – How to bulk print

5. Patient Admin – How to check if a patient has confirmed they will be attending their appointment

6. Messaging – How to text an individual patient or broadcast a message to a whole clinic

7. Key Points and Resources
