To give staff the information they need in order to identify and respond to a range of Safeguarding Adults concerns

Objectives

To learn how to identify a safeguarding adults concern

To learn what to do if they have a concern

To learn how to contact the Safeguarding adults team

Once every 3 years as part of Safeguarding Adults Level 1 pathway

Safeguarding Adults Level 2

Who should attend

All staff that are responsible or delivering care or treatment

Course Aims/Objectives

Aim

To give staff the information they need in order to identify and respond to a range of Safeguarding Adults concerns.

This is a more advanced level of training than is completed at Level 1. Staff that complete Level 2, do not need to complete Level 1 as well.

Objectives

To learn how to identify a safeguarding adults concern

To learn what to do if they have a concern

To learn how to contact the Safeguarding adults team

To learn about sharing information

To gain a more advanced level of knowledge appropriate to role
