HHFT offer Fertility services on both sites led and managed by Consultants with specialist expertise; Mrs Renee Behrens in Winchester and Mr Hammed Tijani in Basingstoke.

Couples who have not been able to conceive after one year of trying can be referred by their GP, or earlier in women who have oligo-amenorrhea or if there are other concerns. Initial investigations completed by the GP are required for both partners prior to referral.

We are able to offer investigations to identify an underlying cause as well as surgery if indicated to investigate or improve fertility outcomes. In women who are not ovulating we offer ovulation induction with monitoring of response.

Provision for NHS funded IVF varies across the UK and is determined by the CCG and can be accessed on their websites. There is separate criteria that applies to those serving in the Armed Forces. All applications for funding must have completed investigations and be completed by an NHS Fertility Specialist.
