The Medical Division is one of three Clinical divisions in the Trust. It covers:

• Speciality Medicine 1 (Cardiology; Respiratory; Gastroenterology; Endoscopy).
• Speciality Medicine 2 (Elderly Care & Stroke; General Medicine)
• Long Term Conditions (Neurology; Dermatology; Rheumatology; Diabetes  and Endocrinology).
• Palliative Care
• Unscheduled and Emergency Care
• Integrated Discharge
• Mental Health
• Virtual Health Hub

Clinical Governance throughout HHFT and NHS organisations are accountable for continuously monitoring and improving the quality of our services. This is achieved by creating an environment in which excellence in clinical care will flourish.

Within the Medical Division, we ensure an open and 'Just Culture' where all staff feel encouraged and supported to raise concerns or promote good practice. By doing so, we all benefit from the sharing and learning this enables, as we strive to provide the best possible standards of wrap around care for our patients.
