Nursing and AHP Apprenticeships at HHFT

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is committed to developing the nursing and AHP workforce through the Nursing Degree Apprenticeship, Occupational Therapy Apprenticeship and Operating Department Practitioners Apprenticeship programmes.  These are delivered in partnership with local Universities.

Successful candidates will be employed as band 3 Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW) or Therapy assistants whilst training. You will be supported by your line manager, the HHFT Learning Environment Team and the Education Provider to meet both the apprenticeship standards and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) requirements for theory and practice.

In your substantive and apprenticeship role, you will work as part of a clinical team, providing direct care to patients.   You will receive protected study time, in accordance with the programme requirements, to attend university study days and complete clinical placements.

These apprenticeships offer a huge opportunity to learn, earn, and progress, helping you develop into a confident and competent registrant with the right skills to provide high standard person-centred care within Hampshire Hospitals.
