Venepuncture, Cannulation and Medicines Management:
This session is facilitated by ther Clinical Skills team, Preceptees are automatically booked unto this session and dates sent out to them.
For the learner to:
- have an understanding of the basic principles and legalities with regards to venepuncture and cannulation.
- This session would also cover Blood Culture training.
- Gain an understanding and awareness of their professional accountability within drug administration.
Preceptees who may have completed this Training before the period of their preceptorship year can be exempt from the session, Please contact the Preceptorship team at Preceptorship@hhft.nhs.uk If you fall into this category.
