Target Audience:
For Line Managers and additional employees across the Trust who are required to participate or facilitate interviews.
Course overview:
The training develops skills and confidence with interviewing, offering unbiased and inclusive interview experiences. The Workshop will support with providing an overview on the tools and resources available whilst delivering a balanced approach to interviewing and wider understanding of the resourcing process in its entirety.
This interactive training has been designed by our in-house Recruitment Team to assist Recruiting Managers. A Recruiting Manager is someone who is added to Trac to manage a particular vacancy and assist with the recruitment processes – not necessarily the Line Manager of the potential new employee (although one could be both). The training focuses on all aspects for the recruitment journey such as: writing a job description, designing an advert, creating a bespoke recruitment campaign, how to complete a great interview, etc. The training also highlights how to avoid any pitfalls throughout the recruitment journey and how to ensure a fair process takes place when attracting the best talented workforce at HHFT.
Objectives:
By the end of the one-day training course, the participants will have enhanced knowledge of:
- Understanding the HHFT approval process
- Creating unbiased adverts that attract great candidates
- Pre Interview preparation
- Question Techniques
- Post Interview actions
- Who are the Resourcing Team?
